To celebrate October 10, I thought it would be interesting to look at the spiritual significance behind the number 1010.
It may be odd to think that numbers can hold spiritual significance, but just like everything in the Universe, numbers carry a vibration, and their vibrations can serve as messengers and as tools for change.
The Universe is always speaking to us through signs, and one of the easiest ways to send a sign is through numbers. Numbers are part of the creative force of the Universe and this has been recognized by people like Tesla and the ancients who built pyramids and structures using certain number patterns and sacred geometry.
10 is a powerful number that is associated with reaching a new level karmically and spiritually. It is about taking that leap up to the next chapter so you can advance your life on all levels.
We all come into this life with a journey or a mission.
This mission is one that is carved out by our soul before we enter our body. We know as a soul that we may forget our mission and go off track, but this is all part of the journey and all part of the game of life.
Going off track is not necessarily a bad thing, however, it does feel better to move through life on track with your soul purpose. Often it is not so much what we do or the type of career we choose, but rather it is how we feel from day to day.
When we wake up feeling hopeful, positive, and full of purpose it is usually a sign that we are on the right track. This may be the case even if we are in a job that is not always rewarding, or in a relationship that is having its ups and downs.
As spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle suggests, raising your level of consciousness and spirituality has nothing to do with what you do, but rather how you do it. Every act can be turned into one that serves spiritual growth and development, it just depends on how you choose to look at things.
Our mindset is powerful, so even when “bad” things happen, if we can shift our perspective and see the silver lining, we are already upgrading our consciousness and evolving to that next level.
When we reach this new level or this new layer in our lives, we often experience change or growing pains. On this new level, we have to readjust and figure out what is going to help us and what is going to hold us back.
On a day like 10/10, we all have the ability to become aware of what this next level may look and feel like.
We may also gain insight into what we need to let go of or how we need to shift our mindset in order to move to that next level.
In order to shed the past, in order to let go so you can climb to new heights, you have to forgive. Forgiveness is one of the most powerful and healing things you can do for yourself.
Forgiving yourself is a good place to start but forgiving others can also be equally powerful. Forgiveness is not about condoning the act or supporting it, rather it is about releasing any anger or negative emotions that are keeping you attached to the event or the person.
On 10/10 it is the perfect time to practice forgiveness.
Start by writing yourself a letter of forgiveness and then include others or situations that you may wish to forgive.
You don’t have to send the letter or involve others, this type of work is purely for you, and is a way for you to release yourself from any negative or stressful attachments that are weighing you down.
Once you have cleared using forgiveness, you can also use the energy of 10/10 to visualize and manifest what you want to create. Think about what you want this new chapter to look and feel like to you. Think about how you can do things differently this time around in order to nurture your boundaries and your growth.
We are all given opportunities to do things over, we are all given the opportunity to advance our lives and move to that next level.
On 10/10 the bridge will appear, and if we pay attention and are ready for it, we will be hoisted to that new level, where we can keep growing and flourishing as we make our journey home.
