There is a calmness which can usually happen just before a storm is about to occur. The weather gets a bit warmer, the air a bit drier, as well as the wind, gets quiet, and things can stabilize before the storm arises – this is called the calm before the storm, and maybe it is the way in which the Mother Nature protects herself.
Tonight we will see the Full Moon in the sign of Taurus.
This earthy Full Moon will be here to stabilize, strengthen, as well as help us to become aware of our triggers and the weak points we have so that we can find out calm every time when life brings a storm on our way.
It is not that this Full Moon will necessarily bring a storm on our way. It does carry some volatile energy which could stir up some stormy weather which was brewing for some time.
The retrograde of the planet Venus is also very active around this period. No matter what problems which were stirring around love and relationships may come to a head too.
Sometimes, when a storm enters in our lives, we tend to be reactive, as well as to get defensive, or we also tend to run and hide without facing up to what is in front of us.
Sometimes these storms also surprise us.
We have to do what is best at the moment.
Other times, there are some warning signs. They indicate the situation in which we are about to enter, saying that it will be tricky or challenging.
Every time this occurs, we have to stop, find our calm before entering the storm. Another way, we will get blown away, and when we are in such a powerless state like that, it is more natural for our ego to take control as it will be more protective for ourselves.
When the ego steps in, it becomes difficult for us to see the reality. Instead, our focus is on survival at any costs or any means, even if it means that it will hurt someone or say something we do not really believe is true.
Every one of us has triggers.
Every one of us has a combination of buttons which when pressed we cannot help but react from a state of lower consciousness. It occurs to everyone, and it can usually occur unless we take note.
In fact, only a moment of awareness is needed, and you can become calm, although the storm may surge around you.
This Full Moon is going to guide you to go within, to retreat, as well as to think about your calm. How often do you have the ability to find this place in your day to day life? How often do you have the ability to stay centered and balanced? How often do you have the ability to surrender and permit things to take their natural course?
Answering the questions from above can just be done if you make the time to journey within. When you actually get there, and the answers emerge, you should keep pushing and ask not the Universe, not the Moon, but only yourself.
What can you do to maintain this place of calm inside you?
Full Moons also have some ways of enhancing things in our lives. Sometimes, they permit us to see things with some greater clarity than we could have seen before. They permit us to see the reality of our ways, our triggers, as well as how we can forgive, do better than this, and rebuild areas of our lives which were neglected.
The truth actually is that storms will always pass our way. We cannot escape from them, and we cannot always run and hide from them. Our lives bring storms, and we have to be prepared to face them.
The more we are aligned with our truth, the more we believe in ourselves and we love ourselves too, the greater the chance we have about making it through.
Every one of us has weaknesses, but we can strengthen some other areas. Every one of us has triggers, but we can actually learn how best to manage them. Every one of us has some questions, but we have to, and we can learn to listen to the wisdom coming from inside.
The energy of the sign of Taurus surrounding this Full Moon, wants us to find our stability.
It wants us to rise silent and strong so that we can withstand every kind of chaos which is coming on our way, no matter if it is today, tomorrow or after a year or two.
The Full Moon of October will highlight the need for calm. It will also remind us that when we are calm, we are also strong, and this strength permits us to be tapped in on all levels so that we can react, respond, as well as receive on a higher vibrational level.
Also, staying in our calm is going to permit any negativity which may be sent on our way to float on by and leave us unscathed.
Although storms can sometimes evoke a sense of fear, as well as uncertainty, they can also be quite cleansing and restorative.
When the storm passes, the Sun shines even brighter.
The rivers flow stronger, and the grass looks even greener, and the trees stand taller too. There are strength and confidence which arises in the air. And, just like our Mother Earth looks lusher and fuller after a storm so that we will look like that too.
